We are looking for an Energy Analyst with interest in energy storage analytics and optimization and understanding of the rapidly changing dynamics of the US wholesale electricity market. We collect and analyze large amounts of data ranging from market prices, capacity awards, generation profiles, asset operations etc. on a day-to-day basis. We keep track of the existing and upcoming market participation rules from the point of view of battery storage and renewable projects.
We advise customers with portfolios of renewable generation and energy storage and on activities that including project development, valuation, project finance, operation, optimization, and risk management. We provide regional coverage in the US, EMEA, and APAC.
Candidates should have strong communication and numerical skills. An understanding of markets, commodities and specifically energy commodities, and data is also very useful.
